Website and MMS Connect policies
These notices explain how this website and MMS Connect are intended to be used. They do not replace program rules, legal advice, or an agency privacy notice.
Privacy Notice
Medicaid Made Simple collects the contact, account, organization, program-interest, consent, and limited workflow information a person chooses to provide. We use it to operate accounts, coordinate requested support, send permitted reminders, review organizations, maintain security, and improve service. MMS Connect is not intended for Social Security numbers, medical records, diagnoses, detailed financial information, case numbers, or completed applications.
Limited referral information may be shared with an approved organization when a client requests that service. Service providers supporting hosting, authentication, email, or text delivery may process information only as needed to provide those functions. We do not sell personal information.
Terms of Use
Use MMS Connect only for lawful benefits navigation and community coordination. Do not upload or message confidential case, medical, financial, or identity documents unless MMS expressly opens an approved secure workflow. Information and checklists are educational and do not guarantee eligibility, approval, payment, legal results, or agency action. Official agency instructions control whenever they differ from this site.
Accounts may be limited, suspended, or removed to protect users, comply with law, or address misuse. Users are responsible for protecting their passwords and reporting suspected unauthorized access.
SMS Consent and Texting
Text consent is optional and is not a condition of receiving services. With permission, MMS may send non-marketing signup, checklist, task, account, or new-message reminders. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Do not reply with private medical, financial, case, or identification information.
Accessibility
Medicaid Made Simple aims to make its website and portal usable with keyboards, screen readers, zoom, and common mobile devices. To request information in another format or report an accessibility problem, call 252-286-1033 or email info@mmscommunitycarefoundation.org.
Data Retention and Account Closure
Account, consent, message, referral, checklist, billing-request, and audit records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, security, legal, financial, and operational responsibilities. Administrators may deactivate accounts without deleting their history. Permanent deletion requests are evaluated against recordkeeping and legal obligations.
